A lot of us thought that to work in a cruise ship you must
have a degree related to maritime. But that’s only half-true. In reality, there

according to studies, entertainers and production staff already found a home in
cruise ships. Cruise Lines growth for the past years were so great, engaging
more and more employment. And because of this, cruise lines are in need of

Music Director or Band
Master
He is an excellent
musician aboard and has the most senior status among the musicians. Some of his
responsibilities are:

- In charge of the entire music department
- Schedule off all on-board musical performances
- Appoints musicians to perform at various musical numbers
- Monitors the performance quality of the group and individual
- Write performance evaluation for each musician
Show Band Musician
He may be a pianist, saxophone player, trumpeter, bassist,
guitarist or a drummer. He must have an extensive professional experience and
has the ability to play as a section player as required.
He is required to play ambient music with a polished and classy
type of sounding. He must be able to play a wide range of piece from Bach to
Gershwin and the favorites – Broadway and must act as a professional and appropriate
etiquette. He is also responsible to provide ambient music for wedding ceremonies
and receptions.
Piano Bar Entertainer
He is also a vocalist on top of playing the piano and be
able to play sing-alongs. A vital part of his performance is his interaction
with the guests. Guests may requests songs and he must able to play it.
Sounds cool! These are just some of the job opportunities
